We had a lot of lightening late Monday evening and into this morning, along with 2.36 inches of rain. It has been a long time since we had this much from storms.
We're getting rain and thunderstorms with lots of lightning every day and it's so hot outside and humid.
I agree Joan - the heat and humidity is awful. We get some rain in the mornings right now, not the torrential tidal rains we had two weeks ago.
It looks like Erin is going to be far enough offshore from us that we'll probably get some winds and riptides. Not like the Outer Banks which are evacuating. I hope it's not too bad for them.
We got about 5 inches Saturday night and more than an inch yesterday. Lost electric service for close to 3 hours too.
