I found this article a while back and have been meaning to post it. It's an amazing and sad story about a chef who was trying to change the way we all eat.

The picture of the cigar in the ashtray is amazing when you realize it's actually edible and all the different ways food would be manipulated. I'm a little intrigued by miracle berries and am tempted to buy the cookbook and try them.

There are several online sources for the miracle berry, you can even buy a plant from fast-growing-trees.com. (While it is a zone 9-11 plant, they claim it can be grown indoors.) I recently bought a new Meyer Lemon tree from them.

Thanks, Aaron, for posting an interesting, although sad, story.

Mike, I hope that all goes well with your Meyer lemon tree. My husband has put our getting one on hold until we get the house remodeling--which has yet to start--done. However, the weather has been warm here, so he has set out our lime tree, which wintered over next to a sunny window in the apartment over the garage.
