Pizzelle

A lacy delicate Italian cookie. Great for holiday or festive occasions
Yield: 60 cookies
Source: Manufacturer of pizzelle iron
6 eggs
1 cup butter
1 ½ cups sugar
3 cups flour
1 T anise (generous)
Confectioners' sugar for dusting each pizzelle.
Mix together. Use one generous tablespoon (adjust amount accordingly) on pizzelle iron and bake as directed with your iron.
