      Hi,

I have flour that has been in my refrigerator for years (probably three). How long does this stuff last? It's mostly whole wheat pastry flour which I don't use anymore but I still hate to throw stuff away.

It sort of depends on how well sealed it is, the refrigerator would probably slow down oils going rancid but flour can pick up odors if stored in the refrigerator.

Basic rule is, if it smells bad, pitch it.
