      INSTRUCTIONS
I got this recipe from the commander's wife when my husband was in the Air Force. It can be made either spirited or non-alchoholic. Make sure that you use either pasterized or clean uncracked eggs. This nog is thick just like the commerical nog in cartons from the store and it's really good. Happy Holidays and enjoy!

      6 eggs
      1/2 c sugar
      1 pkg instant vanilla pudding
      3 c milk

Mix eggs, sugar, and milk together till very well-blended. Add pudding and mix on low for 2 min. Let set 15-20 minutes. Add 3 more cups milk, 1/4 t salt, and 1 t of vanilla or rum extract. Pour into container and chill. Serve topped with nutmeg.

For spiked eggnog: Add only 5 c milk and add 1/2 c bourbon, rum, or brandy.

Note: I like making this and pouring it back into a plastic gallon jug and shaking it up a bit after it sits for a while. It's great to make for a crowd and economical too!
