Thanks for checking. I think Gina was a hoping someone who participates here might have saved it for themselves. I know she appreciates your efforts checking.
I like “Not your mother’s slow cooker recipes for two”,by Beth Hensperger. As the title suggests it is written for smaller slow cookers, and has some creative recipes and ideas.
I’m cooking for one most days and will make a batch of whatever, portion it it out and freeze. Then have meals that are as easy as ones I might buy in the grocery store. My refrigerator tends to be empty and my freezer full.
My Swedish descent mother often made Swedish meatballs. The signature flavoring was allspice. She never used nutmeg, though I have seen it in some recipes. And never used garlic in anything, including meatballs.
Me too, I read every day, forgot I wasn't logged in.
The schedule for Boston area PBS (WBGH) shows the Great British Baking show season 4 starting June 16. I know they are out of sync with the seasons in GB, but it might be one we haven't seen in the states.
