I made a batch of cinnamon rolls Saturday and threw in some left over mashed potatoes I made with sour cream and butter and that made the dough so soft and moist really good, then frosted with cream cheese icicng.Made 4 pie crusts today and an apple pie.So more pies are in the near future.

Give it a try as I did this awhile back not in the fridge over night but add more yeast work it in and see what happens. You'll only be out of a little yeast if it doesn't work.My yeast was old and didn't work ,had to go to town and buy more and my rolls worked fine.Good luck.

I've cooked this many times.Just fry cube steak till crusted, take up add onion and flour to pan to make a gravy put steak back in gravy then place in oven 325* for an hour or 2.will be very tender. Will be fork tender.I just seasoned with salt and pepper.Pan needs to be covered.Hope this helps you.Yep,it's a southern thing biscuits and rice and you in business .

Bakeraunt I figured I could try, if it didn't work that would be OK because they surely weren't rising. They turned out really good, rose slam out the top of the bowl. With all the extra yeast it had no effect to the taste of the sweet rolls.

My sister came to visit a few days with me and I did a lot of baking, cold oven pound cake, cherry pie,one layer chocolate cake and I made a batch of cinnamon rolls yesterday.Well I mixed them up and the dough would not rise, waited like one and a half hours sooo went to town for more yeast by the way had already added and extra teaspoon while waiting but I added 2 &1/4 tsp more mixed it back up with a little more flour to compensate for the added water kneaded it well again and they rose almost over the bowl. They turned out well so I was a happy camper.Shared with all my kin folks near me and they're already gone.As far as the Super Bowl it was fantastic.I'm a Ga. girl but pulled for the Patriots. What a game.

Made a big pot of Brunswick stew which I shared with 2 other families and shared the pound cake I baked also.I love to cook and bake and with just the two of us I have to share. My husband's taste for sweets has changed....yep...but not mine,he'll usually eat one or two slices of cake ,pie or whatever I've cooked then that's it for him.But I keep them pots and pans rattling :).

Once frozen when thawed they are tan not brown and you can literally squeeze them out the end of the skin.I throw them in the side tray of the door of freezer.

When I make Banana Bread I let my bananas get very ripe almost black and they make very good and moist bread. My recipe doesn't use mixer so I mash up if needed. If I ever have bananas going to waste I throw them in freezer in the skin-not peeled. When I want to make bread with them I let them thaw out tear the end open and all the goods just slide out.

Have had good results with the pan grease but...on my Banana Nut Bread it tends to stick???So as I did years ago before I knew about parchment I sometimes use wax paper in the bottoms just to be sure.I always liked The Bakers Joy but sometimes ran out.

Made Lemon Crinkle Cookies from Mennonite page as we like anything lemon and they were very good.Had lemon jello in them for flavor and color and when baked they puffed up high but you were to slam them down on the counter to make them fall. They were very bendy after cooling and I loved them.I got 24 big cookies but next time I'll probably go a little smaller.Besides corn bread that's all I baked.
