I don't know where the time went Mike!
I had a turkey and cheese patty pan fried with sliced tomatoes and pineapple on the side.Our weather overnight was terribly cold and the wind wow.So glad we didn't get any snow to stick, we did have flurries.Temps were down to 22 and felt like 8.
I have 2 loaves of Banana nut bread in the oven for my sister in love, using pecans instead of walnuts.
I had a roast beef dinner with carrots and potatoes my sister in law gave me earlier so for supper it was just a big cup of hot chocolate with lots of marshmallows 🙂 We're having extremely cold weather for us...it's 27 now and will be 21 by the morning with wind that are fierce! We had a few snow flurries thankful not much! Y'all stay warm!
Today I made brownies for the poker ♥️ ♣️♦️♠️ game tonight.
Thanks Mike, I'm looking forward to trying them.Most times I have cooked other mushrooms I sautéed with butter, olive oil and garlic with a little onion then added in a little red wine.
Tonight I'm having roast beef sandwich.
I have a question, I have a friend who says they have a lot of chanterelle mushrooms, they live near the river and he's going to bring some he says so how do you cook them, I have Googled but I'm asking y'all?
I had a turkey burger patty from Publix premade with swiss cheese and onions and peppers I pan fried it and was surprised at how well it tasted....but Joan eats about anything 😉 and with that I had fresh pineapple chunks .

Thanks BakerAunt, I used canola oil in the bread and I don't like it as much as with the butter.It has a nice texture and a good crumb.
I baked the loaf of sourdough and replaced oil for butter it's ok but I like the butter best.
Thank you Cwcdesign I'm trying another loaf tonight but subbing oil for the butter, we shall see.
Tonight I had bologna and cheese sandwich on the sourdough and a bowl of chicken noodle soup.Good and filling.Our cold weather is just getting here today and down to 23 in the morning.I sure don't like it , I can only imagine how you all deal with the snow wowzer.
This is the loaf of sourdough I have been baking.
