The way I make Watergate salad is
2- small pkg. instant Pistachio pudding mix dry
1-20.oz.can crushed pineapple undrained
1/2 of 1 lb. bag mini marshmallows
1-16oz.of cool whip or whipped topping
In large bowl add crushed pineapple and pudding mix dry mix well, add cool whip and marshmallows stir well that's it but so good.It makes a big bowl full.November 18, 2024 at 5:49 pm in reply to: What are you Cooking the Week of November 17, 2024? #44709I love all the meals each of you all have , wish we could taste test too! Tonight I had a sandwich and corn on the cob.
I made the Dark Fudgy Brownies and yesterday I made the sourdough bread again for my niece tomorrow. I made a double batch and upped the starter to 162 grams . I mixed it up at 3pm yesterday and usually it'll sit on the counter overnight but when I was going to bed last night I looked and both batches was spilling over the top. I didn't know how it would do if I panned it up and put in the fridge so I got both batches panned up at 11pm and I waited till they rose an inch over the pan baked them and I went to bed around 2 am . I baked one in a 8x4 then split the other batch in a 8x4 and one tinfoil 8x4. I loaf was 2 pounds and the split recipe made 2 one pound loaves short and small the regular one was 5 inches tall at tallest part. These were all white bread. I baked another Spicy Applesauce Cake for her too.

I made this one before and added a little more starter than it called for .It calls for 50 gr. of starter and I put 70 gr. and reading the reviews some said they even put as much as 150 gr. so I'm going to up mine more next time. The taste was so good and sliced really well.
https://www.theclevercarrot.com/2020/04/easy-sourdough-sandwich-bread/I tried a slice tonight and it's good with a good crumb.
