I am roasting vegetables to bring to a neighbors party. Looking at recipes online I noticed some sights suggest cornstarch to make veggies crispy. Any ideas on this?

Haven't tried it myself, but the idea makes sense, sort of like breading or tempura but without the frying part. I'm not fond of the taste of cornstarch (or the carbs), I wonder what else might work?

Made pepper jelly with all the peppers my neighbor gave me from her garden. Gave her 4 jars. It was sweet, not hot. I had it on chicken and it was delicious.
