Russian Tea Cakes
1 cup softened oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup finely-chopped nuts
In large bowl, combine oleo, sugar, vanilla & salt on low speed of mixer for about 1 min., blending well. Gradually add flour at low speed until just combined. Stir in nuts. Roll dough into 1" balls & place about 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes until firm to the touch but not brown. While warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool, and re-roll in powdered sugar before serving. Makes 4 dozen.
