Kitchen Cabinet Showrooms

I saw this comic today and had to laugh. One of my regrets with the cabinets we installed is that I found out, too late, that my Franciscan Desert Rose plates are too wide for the cabinet shelves:

Fortunately, we converted a pantry cupboard where that set of dishes do fit. However, I would suggest taking along some dishes when you shop for cabinets. The ones of the 21st century are not the stalwart ones of the mid-20th century.
