      Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls

      DESCRIPTION
      This is a recipe clone from the Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls. Credits are given to Todd Wilbur, author of Topsecret Recipes.

      INGREDIENTS
      Rolls

      • 1 1/4 oz package active dry yeast
      • 1 cup war milk
      • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
      • 1/3 cup margarine, melted
      • 1 tsp salt
      • 2 eggs
      • 4 cups all-purpose flour

      Filling

      • 1 cup packed brown sugar
      • 2 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
      • 1/3 cup margarine, softened

      Icing

      • 8 tbsp margarine, softened
      • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
      • 2 oz crea cheese
      • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
      • 1/8 tsp salt

      INSTRUCTIONS
      1. For the rolls, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk in a large bowl. Add the sugar, margarine, salt, eggs and flour, and mix well.
      2. Knead the dough into a large ball. Put dough in a bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place 1 hour or until doubled in size.

      For step 1 and 2 you can use the bread maschine as well.

      3. roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface, until it is about 21 inches long and 16 inches wide and about 1/4 inch thick.
      4. Prehaeat oven to 400 F.
      5. For the filling, combine cinnamon and brown sugar. Spread the softened margarine on dough and sprinkle with cinnamon mixture.
      5. Roll dough, jelly roll style. Cut into 1 3/4 inch slices and place 6 at a time evenly spaced on a greased baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly brown on top.
      6. When the rolls bake combine icing ingredients and beat with an electric mixer till fluffy.
      7. When the rolls come out of the oven coat generously with icing
