Bown Butter Cake

This recipe in the Wall Street Journal does something I've never seen before in making buerre noisette (brown butter). It adds vanilla bean to the butter.

The cake is gluten-free, too.

This would be a good Passover dessert recipe. No grains and using a whole vanilla bean instead of liquid vanilla.
