Bought maple syrup from Chocomouse and finally met her. What a sweetheart!
I only bought 2 skeins of yarn since I have such a huge stash. Got some local honey and fudge and, of course, an apple pie.
Beautiful day here for the festival. Hope you're all having a great Sunday.

Every time that I see such lovely yarn, I really wish that I had learned how to knit and crochet.

I really wish I was not allergic to wool and could knit and wear all the lovely things I see that knitter/crocheters have made. The shawls that Kimbob gave my sister and I are gorgeous - she does beautiful work; thank you Kimbob. I will post a photo when I get unpacked and organized. Unfortunately, when we are at a big festival such as Rhinebeck or Maryland (hi Skeptic), I do not have time to chat because there is usually a line waiting to check out - I may be allergic to wool, but I am not allergic to money, so I am the cashier and manage the needles and other accessories that support the yarn hoarders.

I'm sorry you're allergic to wool, chocomouse. My brother is allergic so I've knit him stuff in acrylic. Well , give it to your sister or someone else who can use it. I was going to bring you jelly I made but since you don't know me from Adam I didn't think that was a good idea. I'm glad I met you! Next time I'll knit something in acrylic. 😊

Kimbob, I can wear a shawl if I wear it over a shirt with a collar, to keep it off my neck. I just cannot have wool next to my skin. Unfortunately, I love most of the knitted items I see at all the festivals! And my sister will NOT get the beautiful shawl you knit for me!
