Seven Layer Salad

INGREDIENTS
3 cups finely chopped Lettuce
2 cups finely chopped Celery
2 cups finely chopped Carrots
1 bunch finely chopped Green Onions
2 Green Bell Peppers, cored and finely chopped
2 cups frozen tiny green peas or canned English Peas drained (for frozen, microwave in a little water for 3 minutes.
Cheddar Cheese, shredded
Crumbled Bacon bits are also good on this.
INSTRUCTIONS
Ranch Dressing (use dry package and fresh buttermilk along with other ingredients on package. Be sure to make this up the day before so that it can solidify.
Chop all ingredients and layer in the order given, except shredded cheese. At this point it can be refrigerated up to 24 hours. Do not add Dressing until you are ready to serve, then put a layer of the Dressing and sprinkle a layer of Cheddar Cheese.
