I used leftovers of lima beans, added to that to make lima bean soup...good and easy.
I made a batch of crockpot Buffalo Chicken today. Asparagus was on sale at HT, so I had that with some chicken and blue cheese.
I canned 4 quarts of tomato juice.
Today I cooked a chicken breast on top of stove with BBQ sauce for gravy that we had over rice and creamed corn.
I made Salmon Patties for Sunday dinner to go with our two leftover side dishes of pasta salad for me and bulgur stir-fry for my husband.
I visited with a friend today so we had spaghetti and meat sauce from the freezer and garlic toast with a side salad.
I made beef stew on Wednesday, not because it was cold, as the weather was muggy with temperatures in the upper 80s, but because we got a good deal on lean stew meat at the local grocery yesterday.
Today we had fried cubed pork, rice and gravy with cooked carrots.
I had planned to do steaks on the grill, but we had a storm come through this afternoon, so I wound up doing tacos indoors. I'll try to do the steaks tomorrow, and then probably potato leek soup on Friday.
I had pork chops, brown rice and kale.
Tonight we had chargrilled chicken breast, macaroni and cheese and green beans,I made a chocolate cake and had some cream cheese icing from last cinnamon rolls so I added cocoa to that with a dab of milk, butter and a little more powder sugar and we have icing...lol.
I'm making potato-leek soup for supper tonight, with croutons made from semolina bread.
We had oyster stew.
We had the rest of the beef stew.
The pump for the new well was installed today, and we are now connected to the well. We had to run the water for a while before it was clear. It has been a LONG month.
