I grilled "Happy Foods Tube" boneless marinated chicken thighs and served them with roasted potatoes and mixed greens salad with several herbs from my pots. The next night I made chicken sandwiches with the leftover chicken. Will make this recipe again.

I think the cookie company makes a lot more from the sale of these cookies than the girl scouts do. Whoever came up with this idea was a true business genius IMHO! I don't need the calories nor the guilt for not buying a box. I remember driving my daughter and her friend around knocking on doors. A lot of work on everybody's part.

I think their biscuits were popular because you see that recipe on the internet.

I have a Breville counter top oven too. I find it interesting that some recipes call for a regular oven vs. a toaster oven. Maybe the different size of toaster oven makes a difference? Any way I love my Breville and use it almost every day.

I had leftover bruschetta mix so I roasted some chicken and I poured the whole shebang over noodles.

Sorry to hear about your ordeal BA. Cancer in our friend's jaw was discovered by his dentist. He had to have his jaw removed and rebuilt. They never could get his teeth to work right. He is still going strong (but thin) 5 years later. Dental exams are important.

Thanks for your advice BA. I do have a scoop that would have been perfect but of course when I needed it I couldn't find it. I used 2 different recipes to get the weight measurements. One called for 3/4 c of sugar, sifted . Don't ask me why I sifted ahead. That screen from KA sounds interesting. Of course I have another gift card from KA I have to use.

I made Mexican Wedding cookies for our Cinco de Mayo party. The problem I have now is trying to find recipes with weight measurements. Measuring things however seems to be more work and more dishes. I had to toast pecans and then chop them. I sifted and measured the confectioners sugar which went everywhere. I chilled the cookie dough overnight. I had to measure out the dough by tablespoon and then roll 40 cookies. Finally I had to roll each ball in confectioners sugar. I picked this recipe because I thought it wouldn't be a lot of work. They were yummy and went fast.

I had a sliced beef sandwich. I marinated an eye of the round roast which I roasted and sliced thin with my electric slicer. One of my co-workers at the Kitchen Shoppe in Carlisle recommended the slicer ( a long time ago), It was a great recommendation. It helps to slice a baguette into even slices for crostini.

My husband grilled some Porterhouse steaks which I salted and let rest for about 45 minutes before they hit the fire. I served them with roasted baby potatoes and a chopped salad. Glad the steaks were on sale because they were delicious.

We had pork tenderloin topped with blueberry preserves mixed with blueberry -cinnamon hot sauce. Why not? I baked it at 350 for 20 minutes. Yummy last night and yummy cold for lunch today!

I had to make a dish for our German wine theme night. I made slow cooker sweet and sour green beans with bacon. It was pretty good but I placed my dish at the end of the buffet table and peoples plates were already full at that point. Live, laugh and learn!

We had haddock using BA's crispy fish recipe. It didn't take long to bake and it was very tasty. I used fresh dill. Both the dried dill and fresh dill are quite pricy but then dill is the star in the tartar sauce!
