My Carrot cake was good at the poker game and my brother in law wanted one so I baked one today that I'll be taking to Monticello ,Fla. tomorrow visiting with my niece/ sister .I'm tired of baking Carrot cake now 🙂 but I didn't throw flour all over the kitchen today!

Chocomouse that is a very old Tupperware , I still have lots and use them all the time and I use them like you do too.

I made another Carrot Cake to take to Poker Night tomorrow. I made a mess today in the kitchen.First off I didn't start with a big enough bowl .I had sugar and oil in when I started mixing it went everywhere (I didn't use my guard) I had to wipe counters and floor, so start adding flour and it was slinging good, stopped the mixing changed to a bigger bowl, wiped up lots more and know now I'm going to add more flour and cinnamon to compensate for what was lost. Just added about a half cup of flour and a tsp more cinnamon and we shall see tomorrow night, looks good. What a day but I shall smile.

Thank you BakerAunt I will get around to trying those doughnut recipes . I had to throw out some whole wheat flour and replace it the other day . All y'alls baking sounds good to me .

I had 2 rotisserie chicken that I had picked the meat off and today boiled the bones and skin for broth after getting the bones and skin out I added chicken and rice to the pot and have a nice chicken soup for a few days. The rice was a pack of chicken flavored rice from Aldis .It was really good.

I baked a Lemon Chess Pie today from Mennonite Girls Can Cook, one of my favorites for my yard man.
