      Thomas Jefferson Chicken

      Is good with giblet gravy and a nice salad.

      Chicken

      1 1/2 cups flour
      1 1/2 cups milk add gradually to 4 eggs-beaten
      1 tsp salt
      1 1/2 tsp baking powder
      3 Tbs. melted butter or less

      Grease well a pyrex dish or baking dish, fry chicken before in flour with salt and pepper, place in dish, pour well beaten batter over.

      Bake 1hr in 375 degree oven or 1 1/2 hr in 350 degree
