Have others seen the announcement for Thermowork's first scale? Lists at $119, about the only feature I found interesting was that the display is wireless and can be several feet away from the platform. But it has an 11 pound limit. It apparently measures in 0.1 gram or .001 ounce increments, but it says the accuracy is 0.7 grams 😮

I can buy about 8 scales at WalMart for $120. 🙂

Yes, I did Mike - I thought it was pretty cool, but the price way too much for me, but maybe I'll think about if/when my OXO dies

I am on their email list, so I saw it, but it is more complicated than what I need.

I love the Thermoworks thermometers. That scale is a little pricey for me. I have an Oxo that I love.

Yeah, for that price I would expect it to do things scales costing a lot less don't do, the only one I saw was the wireless display panel. I'd find that a lot more useful if it had 30 pounds of capacity, I've got a 24 quart stock pot that weighs almost 10 pounds when it is empty, and when I set it on the scale I have that has a 33 pound capacity, I have to put a pastry ring on top so I can see the display, a display panel that can be moved around does have its advantages.
