Iva Caves' Quick 'n' Easy Chocolate Frosting

Iva Caves' Chocolate Frosting Frosts 9x9-inch cake
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
First mix the sugar & cocoa together.
Then add
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. butter or margarine
Optional:
1/3 - 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Bring to a good boil in medium saucepan, stirring constantly.
Boil 1 minute. Cool to room temperature without stirring.
Add 1 t. vanilla. Beat until spreading consistency. If desired,
add nuts; or nuts may be sprinkled on after spreading on cake.
***I'm sure we used this frosting on a 9x12" cake, esp' if it had nuts in it. If you prefer a bit more frosting, increase by half again as much of everything. Doubling might make quite a bit, although if doubled, it might do for a layer cake.
