Oatmeal Sandwich Cookie

Instructions
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup Crisco
2 eggs
2 cups quick oats
1 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix in large bowl in order given. Roll dough into 1/2" or 1" balls. Do not flatten. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not let cookies get too brown. When completely cool, fill.

1 stick butter, softened
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 box confectioner's sugar
2 tablespoons flour

Mix well. Be generous when filling sandwiches.

This recipe makes about 40 sandwich cookies.
