INSTRUCTIONS
Mariannes sheet cake

From a neighbor, this is a truly simple but wonderful cake!

10 oz. each butter, sugar and flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
6 eggs
dash of salt

grease and flour rimmed jelly roll pan.
make cake batter – creaming method – pour in pan, scatter surface of cake with walnuts.
Bake at 360° for 20 minutes.
Beat ½ c butter with 2 tbsp. lemon juice and 7 oz. powdered sugar and spread over hot cake.

It’s wonderful!
