Does anyone own EGO Power+ home/garden tools? Are they any good?

Hi,

I see these floating around places - battery powered mowers/chainsaws/etc. It looks like they have a decent size battery pack, but reviews seem to be mostly about "new shiny they gave us to review" and "Yeah, it works, at least for my one test!" I'm going to have a few acres to deal with soon, and am interested in this stuff, but it doesn't seem like it's really suited to large outdoor areas over a traditional set of gas powered lawn/garden tools. Has anyone played with them?

Please help.

I have some Ryobi battery operated tools including a line trimmer and leaf blower. I get plenty of run time on the line trimmer. The leaf blower goes through the battery pretty fast but I have a several batteries so it works for me. If you have several acres to deal with I think you will need gas powered equipment.
