CAKES: Apple Cake 2
My attempt at a more healthful apple cake.
Mix together:
2 cups AP flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup Splenda or Equal
2 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
1/8 tsp cloves
Mix together:
1 cup yogurt
1/2 cup egg substitute or 2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup oil or 2 TB applesauce + 3 TB oil
Mix dry and wet ingredients together.
Add to this mixture:
4 cups chopped apples
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped nuts
Pour into greased and floured bundt pan.
Bake at 325 for 60-70 minutes or until done.
