I had the last of the steak tonight with a salad.
Happy Birthday Chocomouse sorry I'm late.
We wound up having waffles tonight.
I picked up my friend at the airport in Jacksonville tonight and made us teriyaki salmon, broccoli and brown rice. We leave for New Zealand on Tuesday morning. Will, who seems to have had a bout of food poisoning last night 9he is much better tonight) will follow on Saturday. Nathaniel and Anna get married on the 27th.
And, Happy Birthday chocomouse!
I made my husband's favorite meal to put together when he was single: rice a roni with ground beef. I added some veggies to spruce it up.
For last night's dinner, I made a stir fry with pork, shredded brussels sprouts, carrots and celery. Had it over rice.
Cwcdesign I hope you all have a wonderful trip and Will feels better.
Tonight I had chargrilled chicken and a salad.
Best wishes to Nathanial and Anna, CWCdesign! Enjoy your trip!
For dinner on Monday, I made a stir-fry with farro, leftover chicken, carrots, celery, orange bell pepper, mushrooms, and some broth from the freezer. There is enough left over for me to have for lunch later this week. I also made yogurt today.
Navlys--I had to laugh when I read about the rice-a-roni dinner that your husband used to eat when he was single, as a lot of young, single men are vegetable challenged. Of course, in this modern age, that might also be true of a lot of young, single women.
Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone. It sure was memorable with no electricity for 10 hours!
It's a cold winter night, so of course we had tacos.
Tonight I had chili from the freezer and a grilled cheese sandwich.
Dinner tonight was chicken breasts cooked in the tagine, with leftover roasted veggies and fresh green beans.
We had creamed tuna on biscuits.
I made pork loin chops, roasted potato and broccoli and carrots.
Chicken Caesar salad.
