June 14 is the birthday of Cass Avona, also known as Kid Pizza. He belonged to the King Arthur Baking Circle long before I joined, and he has done some posting here at Nebraska Kitchen. Cass has encyclopedic baking knowledge, and many bakers over the years have benefited from his wealth of knowledge. Now in his 90s, he finds it difficult to post, but he reads what members post here, so join me in wishing Cass a very happy birthday!
