I think we're doing a souffle for supper.

Dinner was boneless pork chops pan-fried with sliced apples and onions; and roasted veggies: brussels sprouts, carrots, potatoes, squash, onions, and sweet red peppers.

That meal sounds so good, Chocomouse.

We had leftover stir-fry from 3 nights ago.

I went to my friends for a cookout, we had hotdogs and chili with chips and all the trimmings. I made brownies and Watergate salad.

Joan, I had not heard the term Watergate Salad before, I had to look it up. It sounds good.

Yesterday I stuffed a few peppers. I had one with green beans, carrots, mushrooms and some pasta. Repeat for tonight.

                  As always, great plating, Len!

The Washington Post food section had an article on Watergate Salad earlier this year.

I made coleslaw on Monday and used a lovely cabbage that I bought at the farmers' market a couple of weeks ago. The flavor is spectacular. We had some with Crispy Oven Fish and Chips with Dill Tartar Sauce.

                      Good looking plate Len!

The way I make Watergate salad is
2- small pkg. instant Pistachio pudding mix dry
                      1-20.oz.can crushed pineapple undrained
1/2 of 1 lb. bag mini marshmallows
1-16oz.of cool whip or whipped topping
In large bowl add crushed pineapple and pudding mix dry mix well, add cool whip and marshmallows stir well that's it but so good.It makes a big bowl full.

I made salads for dinner: seafood, and ditalini with celery, onion, orange sweet pepper, peas, and cheddar with a honey mustard dressing, and leftover broccoli salad.

I had a frozen meaty ham bone, so on Tuesday, I made black-eyed peas with it. I also added sautéed yellow bell pepper, celery, and kale, and cooked some brown rice separately to add at the end. I seasoned with some thyme and freshly ground black pepper.

We had some for dinner, along with coleslaw.

I made a pizza with leftover sliced stuffed pepper. I was bouncing around the KA site, looking at pizza recipes and found one that uses beer. So I made my usual dough (equal parts of semolina, whole wheat and bread flours) but used beer instead of water. Didn't notice any difference.
