3 of the same recipe, just makes different amounts!
6 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
16 tblsp. melted butter, cooled
3 1/2 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. anise or vanilla

8 tblsp. melted butter, cooled
1 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. anise or vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 cups sugar
5 1/3 tblsp. melted butter, cooled
1 cup plus 3 tblsp. flour
1 1/3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. anise or vanilla
Lightly beat eggs. Add sugar a little at a time, blend well. Add melted butter, then add flour and baking powder. Add anise or vanilla. Bake on irons, between 45 seconds and 1 minute until golden brown. Once the steam stops coming out the sides, I peek to check the color. Dust with powdered sugar when cool.
