      I went to the vegetable market today. They had jicama. I almost bought it even though I have no idea what to do with it. They had only one. If anyone can tell me what to do with it, I'll call and ask them to hold it for me if it hasn't sold.

          We will shred it and use it in salads or in slaw.

            BakerAunt, thanks for a really good article about jicama. It demystifies peeling it. Now that I know its use, I'll buy it if they haven't already sold it.

            Aaron, I appreciate you letting me know how you use it. I don't make slaw, but I'll probably enjoy it in salads.
