Baked Cauliflower

This recipe is one of my favorite side dishes that my Mom used to make.
1 large head cauliflower
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Wash and break the cauliflower into flowerets. Cook the cauliflower in boiling, salted water for about 5 minutes. Drain.
Coat the bottom of a baking pan with 2 tablespoons olive oil and arrange the cauliflower on the bottom of the pan. Combine the bread crumbs, cheese, garlic powder, salt & pepper and moisten with 1/4 olive oil. Sprinkle over the cauliflower. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
