Apple Fritters with Cream Sauce
1 cup apple juice
1 tsp cornstarch
2 pcs eggs
1 tbsp sugar, white
4 pcs large apples
2 eggs
100 g dried coconut flakes or bread crumbs
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp powdered sugar
For the cream sauce, combine the first four ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let it cool.
For the fritters, peel and core the apple using an apple corer.
Slice crosswise into 1/2 inch-thick rings.
In a bowl, beat the eggs. Dip apple slices in egg and coat with coconut flakes.
Pan-fry in butter until golden brown on both side.
Arrange on a serving plate and serve warm with cream sauce.
