DESCRIPTION
Whole Wheat Waffles
SUMMARY
Yield 0 File under Muffins Quickbreads Scones
INSTRUCTIONS
2 Eggs
1 1/4 Cup Buttermilk *plus 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 Cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking soda
1 Cup *Whole Wheat Flour
3/4 Cup White flour
Mix all wet ingredients. Add dry ingredients. Don't over-mix. Bake in waffle maker.
*If you don't have buttermilk you can substitute regular milk, but LEAVE OUT the 1/2 tsp. of baking soda.
*You can use all White flour - all purpose flour if desired. I prefer the nutrition value and taste of 1/2 wheat and 1/2 white flour.
Recipe is from The Amazing Wheat Book by LeArta Moulton
