We had artichokes for supper tonight.
I made stir fry again.
Thank you all for your kind comments. Last night I had chicken Caesar salad made with spinach with some focaccia from the freezer.
Thanksgiving dinner was turkey, dressing (Blue Bag Pepperidge Farm forever!), applesauce, Dried Cherry and Cranberries with Cardamom (all mine, since my husband does not care for cranberries or cardamom), applesauce, peas, turkey gravy. Dessert was pumpkin pie.
Earlier in the day I made yogurt.
Blue Bag Pepperidge Farm dressing is the star of the meal at my house -- I nibble on it all afternoon as the turkey roasts in the oven! An 11 pound turkey seems to be about the right size for the two of us, with plenty of leftovers. We also had butternut squash harvested from our garden a few months ago, sweet potato for my husband, and fresh green beans. I forgot to cook the carrots.
We went with fried ham and cheese sandwiches tonight, a break from Thursday leftovers.
We re-ran Thanksgiving dinner, except that we had microwaved frozen mixed vegetables instead of peas. We both had our pumpkin pie in the afternoon, me with coffee, and Scott with tea.
We are re-running Thanksgiving turkey, dressing, applesauce, and cranberries. and microwaved frozen mixed vegetables.
Yeah, we had Thanksgiving leftovers, too.
