SOFT HONEY BUNS
1 1/2 C. Milk
2 T. Shortening
2 T. Butter
1/4 C. Honey
4 - 4 1/2 C. APF
2 1/4 t. yeast
1 1/4 t. salt
Scald milk
add honey, shortening and butter to bowl
add milk
Stir to blend
add 2 C. APF
mix well and cool to 110 degrees
add salt and yeast
mix till smooth and let rest for 15 min.
add remaining flour
knead and let rise till double in size
bake at 350 for 12 to 14 min.
Note: I kneaded in my KA for 5 minutes and finished with about a 3 minute hand knead.
