INSTRUCTIONS
I love this recipe! It's very easy and unusual, too, and oh, so good. Cheryl
2 c flour
1/2 c shortening
3 t. baking powder
3/4 c milk
Mix flour and baking powder together, cut in shortening, and mix in milk. Roll out and spread this on:
1/4 c melted butter
1/2 c sugar
1 t cinnamon
4 c uncooked rhubarb
Roll up like a cinnamon rolls, cut into 8 or 10 rolls. Put in a 13x9 inch pan. Boil 1 1/2 c sugar and 2 c water and red food coloring. After sugar dissolves, pour into the pan and bake at 375 degrees for 55 minutes.
