      Corn Beef Pie
Submitted by pat88 on March 04, 2004 at 2:31 am

This is a recipe for a pie that my grandmother came up with to feed her large family with just a few ingredients. It is delicious with mashed potatoes, peas and coleslaw.

      1 medium onion, chopped
      1 can corned beef
      1 can condensed tomato soup
      pastry for a 2-crust pie

Saute onion in butter. Add 1 can corned beef and chop well. Then add undiluted tomato soup and heat until just barely warm.

Put into pie dish lined with bottom pie crust and then cover with top crust. Seal edges and cut slits in the top crust to vent the steam.

Bake at 400 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

      Spread the word
