Any brand cake mix flavor of your choice
1/3 cup Mazola corn oil
2/3 cup water
4 eggs
1 tablsp cinnamon
1/3 cup each white and dark brown sugar
2 sticks margarine
1 stick butter
1 tablsp vanilla
4 cups all purpose flour
Add eggs, water and oil to cake mix. Beat until well blended'
Pour into 12x18 cookie sheet with sides which has been greased and floured. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Melt butter and margarine together with vanilla. Cool slightly, Mix together flour, cinnamon and sugars. Gradually add butter/vanilla mixture, mixing with your hands until no white streaks appear. Mixture will clump nicely when squeezed.
Scatter over partially baked cake, being sure to cover surface completely and return to oven for another 20 minutes or so. If you like crunchy crumbs, raise oven temperature to 365degrees.
HINT: I make the crumb mixture before mixing the cake, as it clumps better when it has rested a little.
