      INSTRUCTIONS
      BISCUIT MIX
      Makes 13 cups

      This can be used for waffles, pancakes, biscuits, and as a coating for chicken. Use it for anything for which you use a product like Bisquick.

      9 cups sifted flour
      1/3 cup baking powder
      1 cup plus 2 tablespoons powdered milk
      4 teaspoons salt
      1 3/4 cups vegetable shortening

      Sift all dry ingredients. Cut shortening into flour until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Store well covered, in cool, dry place.
