Working on layout issues

I needed to upgrade some of the installed tools on this site, and doing that broke the theme I've been using, so I'm looking for a new theme that has pretty much the same capabilities as the broken one.

So expect to see some changes over the next few hours or days.

The trick is to come up with a background image that doesn't look gross, I tried a picture of a trifle and a tray of cinnamon rolls, both looked weird.
