Southern Sweet Potato Pie

1 ¾ cups mashed cooked sweet potatoes, strained
1 tsp. salt
1 ½ cups milk
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. ginger
1 Tbsp. melted butter

Above is for 9” pie.

Pour into pastry lined pie pan.

425F, 45-55 min.

Also, can be used for New England Squash Pie, by using 1 ¾ cups strained mashed cooked squash.
