Submitted by kathyd on October 24, 2009 at 5:04 pm

      1 1/4 cup flour
      1 tsp baking soda
      1 cup butter/margarine
      1/4 cup sugar
      3/4 cup packed brown sugar
      1 4oz Jello Instant Pudding
      2 eggs
      3 1/2 cups oatmeal
      1 cup raisins

      1) Combine butter, sugars and pudding in large mixing bowl and beat until smooth and creamy.

      2) Beat in eggs one at a time.

      3) Gradually add flour mixture until combined.

      4) Add oats and raisins and stir. Batter will be stiff.

Drop by rounded teaspoons full on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

      Kathy's Notes:
I add craisins and white chocolate chips and the family loves them. They are also good with M&M's in them too!

I usually use vanilla pudding for these but have found that butterscotch pudding is very good in this recipe as well.
