3-sticks butter at room temperature
8oz.cream cheese at room temperature
a pinch of salt
1 & 1/2-teaspoon of vanilla
6 eggs at room temperature
3-cups of Swans Down cake flour
1.Mix 1st 3 ingredients till creamy and sugar is dissolved.
2.Add salt and vanilla
3.Beat eggs in 1 at a time.
4.Add flour 1 cup at a time.
Place in greased and floured pan.Bake in cold oven at 275* 1 &1/2 -2 hours until golden brown.Toothpick test.Mine takes 2-1/2 hours but is definitely worth the wait.And I cook mine on bottom rack of oven.
